Satellite TV's sting operations have found greener pasture - films! "7 1/2 Phere" starring Juhi Chawla and Irrfan Khan is a light-hearted comedy and takes a dig at sting
operations.
The Juhi-Irrfan comedy that hits screens this month takes a humorous look at situations when a wedding is around the corner. So, in a way, "7 1/2 Phere" is like "Monsoon
Wedding" as it explores the goings-on prior to a marriage in a household.
And "Monsoon Wedding" too dealt with a serious issue - child molestation.
Produced by Nimit Modawal and directed by Isshaan Trivedi, "7 1/2 Phere" also stars Manini De, Anang Desai, Vallabh Vyas and Neena Kulkarni among others. The music
is scored by Shantanu Moitra of "Parineeta" fame.
