Abhishek Bachchan has made it a point to thank everyone for their wishes on behalf of his actress-wife Aishwarya Rai, who turned 40 Friday.

The actor took to Twitter to thank his fans and even promised to ask his wife to tweet later.

"You guys are too sweet. Thank you all so much for your wishes for Aishwarya. Will get her to tweet you guys later," Abhishek posted on microblogging site Friday.

The couple got married in 2007 and have a daughter Aaradhya who is almost two years old.
