Puneet Singh Ratn, the tall brooding ganglord from Ram Gopal Varma's Satya 2 seems to be taking his role of the violent aggressor too seriously.

On Thursday morning Puneet got into a serious altercation with Rupessh Jain, a personnel from Ram Gopal Varma's marketing team, and allegedly roughed up Jain physically.

While Jain remained unavailable for comment a source from Ram Gopal Varma's team says Puneet has serious anger-management problems. `Puneet is a nice guy.But he is very short-tempered. He allegedly had an alcohol problem and had to go into rehabilitation. He does have a short fuse and loses his cool at the drop of a hat.`

Staffers at Ram Gopal Varma's office feel this time Puneet picked the wrong guy. `Rupessh is a gentle softspoken guy. He never raises his voice, never loses his cool.So we wonder what could've provoked Puneet to rough up Rupessh,` says a friend of Ram Gopal Varma's.

Significantly there were stories two months back about Puneet allegedly manhandling his driver. However Puneet politely and gently dismissed the whole incident as exaggerated and a publicity stunt.

Said the debutant, `It is not my fault if the marketing people for my film are not doing their jobs properly.I've been going all-out to promote the film. But if some incompetent people in the marketing team have not delivered , it is certainly annoying.`

So is Puneet admitting he lost his cool? `I did have an argument with one of the guys in marketing. But that's it. There was no brawl or physical altercation.`

Getting defensive Puneet says, `I am not even one film old as yet. This is the last thing I need.I don't know who's spreading such rumours about me. If it's publicity for the film then I don't need this. I am new to the entertainment industry. I don't know how to deal with such things.`
