The news of Sunil Grover aka Gutthi's leaving "Comedy Nights..." has undoubtedly come up as shock for many of the die-hard fans of this TV comedy show. But even more shocking than that seems to be the reason behind the inglorious exit of Sunil from Kapil's show which reveals that Sunil's exit from "Comedy Nights..." has nothing to do with the conclusion of the contract. Rather its the "Big Egos" which have taken their toll.

If reports from some of the insiders are to be believed then it was only after relinquishment of Sunil's desire of hike in his fees by the makers of the show, because of which he decided to part his ways from " "Comedy Nights..." and focus on the execution of his own plans.

Reports from those associated with the show even suggest that after the refusal of Sunil's demand, that is of tripling his remuneration, Sunil asked for a couple of day's on the pretext of attending some show abroad which was again renounced by the makers.


However, if account of a source from the makers side is to be believed then it says that,"there was no such event and Sunil was busy pitching his show to various broadcasters, which he is planning to launch under his own hostmanship and interview the celebs.

Hard to believe 'Kapil was insecure'

But at the same time if reports pertaining to show's host and producers Kapil Sharma suggests that, it was rising popularity of Gutthi which paved the way for a sense of insecurity in Kapil subsequently leading to a separation. Because except Sunil's character i.e. Gutti none of the other characters are much popular among the masses.


Although in an effort of pausing all the rumors and apprehensions Sunil quoted that it's the conclusion of his contract because of which he has call it a quit but, for all those who are the die-hard fans of "Comedy Nights...", "Kapil" and of-course Sunil, this reasons seems to be too vacuous to justify, Gutti's exit from this chart topping entertainer of small screen
