Ekta Kapoor who is often in the news for her tough ways of working, showed her soft side recently. The producer went to calm down director Mohit Suri after he expressed his dismay at the functioning of her production house.
If rumours are to be believed, Mohit, who is directing an upcoming action and romance film Villain, was mighty upset with Balaji Motion Pictures. `Apparently, the executive producers were constantly being replaced before the schedule, because of which the schedules were going haywire,` says a source.
Upset at the twists and turns, Suri apparently took some of the members of the the production house to task. Later, Ekta was informed of his reaction and she immediately took matters into her own hands. `On learning of Suri's concern, she went to meet him to sort out the issues,` adds the informer.
When asked Suri said, `We are still structuring and it's not fair to blame the production house, I am a difficult person. I am used to working with a family set-up so I am like a spoiled child who throws tantrums. We don't have an EP and I am directly talking to Ekta now.`
On being asked whether he was upset with the production house, he admitted. `Well, yes, I called for Ekta, I wanted to directly deal with her and she came to meet me. She told me that from now on, I should directly be in touch with her for everything. She came to meet to know what I was cribbing about. I am too demanding and I throw tantrums -- let's put it like that,` Mohit says bashfully.
