Actress Sonam Kapoor's film Khoobsurat has made the heroine to undergo minor surgeries for piercing her earlobe and the cartilage. The film is currently being shot.

The actress plays a physiotherapist in the film and just like in real life Sonam Kapoor is a stylish diva, the same style will also be seen reflecting in her role in the film. "Getting our ears pierced when we are kids is easy but to have the cartilage pierced is an extremely painful exercise," she said.

Even though the actress was aware that it would be extremely hurtful, Sonam was not at all daunted by the whole idea. She immediately agreed to do it as it adds spunk to her character.
