While Shahid Kapoor is busy promoting his upcoming film R... Rajkumar the rumour mill has it that his father was busy looking for a girl in Punjab to marry him. However, Shahid clears the air about the rumours.

On being asked about the reports, Shahid said, "I don't know why people publish such false stories. I was in Kashmir shooting for a film and my father was busy with his work. He is not looking for a bride."

"I will search for a bride and not my father. He selected his life partner and so will I," added the actor.

"My father goes to Punjab to meet our relatives there and he has his spiritual guru in Punjab and that's about it," concluded Shahid.
