Arshad Warsi seems to be bogged down by physical injuries. For his upcoming film Dedh Ishqiya, he had to combat a sprained back. While he shot 70 per cent of his other project, Mr Joe B Carvalho, with a knee problem.
During the shoot for the title sequence of Dedh Ishqiya with Naseeruddin Shah, he had to be riding a camel for two days. During one of the takes, he got a catch in his back while getting onto the camel's saddle. The shoot had to be stalled.
After receiving medical attention, Arshad finished the shoot, but the pain did not subside completely. He had sprained his back and was asked to rest for a while.
During the filming of Mr Joe B Carvalho, Arshad had severe pain on his knee cap due to an earlier injury. He even had his physiotherapist on the sets who would regularly make him exercise. He also underwent acupuncture treatment before and after the shoot as he performing the stunts in the film himself.`
Talking about his ailments, Arshad says, `I had a catch in my back, but I'm recovering well. I wanted to be perfectly fine because the next couple of months are very hectic and, luckily, I'm doing great now.`
