Kamal Haasan, who is in Goa to attend the on-going International Film Festival of India (IFFI), had the organisers on their toes with his demands. The veteran actor and filmmaker apparently refused to enter his room in the five-star hotel where he was put up. Reason? It did not match up to his requirements.
Says a source from the festival, `The moment Kamal Haasan was taken to the room, he threw a fit. He did not even bother to see how it was. He appeared to be irked and told the organisers that he had clearly told them to book a suite for him.`
Adds the source, `Though he had put in a request for a suite, there was some confusion on the booking front. Even though the best room had been kept ready for him in the hotel, he was not pleased.`
The organising team swung into action and pacified the star. He was later shifted into a suite according to his demand.
Kamal Haasan remained unavailable for comment.
