Actor-Director Sohail Khan, younger brother of embattled actor Salman Khan, on Saturday night termed as 'doctored' the audio tapes in which Salman allegedly threatened actress Aishwarya Rai and claimed that on the contrary their family had been receiving threats from the underworld.

"My brother is innocent and tapes of his alleged conversation with actress Aishwarya Rai are doctored", Sohail said.

Sohail also denied that a photo of Salman in which he is seen with youonger brother of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim was original.

"Now-a-days technology is so advanced that you can even put my photo besides that of Osama bin Laden", Sohail said.

"To say that my brother has links with underworld without any basis is irresponsible on part of the media", he said, adding "Salman is very hurt that is why he is not coming before the media. What ever Salman has to say, I am saying on his behalf".

"There are some people who are jealous of Salman's success", Sohail said, adding "the facts would come to light in due course of time".

The truth would be out after July 20, he said apparently referring to the statement by Maharashtra government in the state assembly on the coming Wednesday.

Sohail said the stopping the screening of Salman's film Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya because of such baseless allegation was not right. "The whole film industry is supporting us", he said.
