The creator of the hugely popular TV series "Desperate Housewives" has planned to pen in more "fantastic scenes" to boost Eva Longoria's chances of winning
awards.
The actress was overlooked for the Golden Globes and the more recently announced Emmy nominations.
"I don't know if it's because she's the youngest or so incredibly gorgeous or because the other women have been kicking around for longer and have a lot of (voting) friends in
the industry who are so happy they've caught a second wave," writer Marc Cherry was quoted as saying by the Internet Movie database.
"I'd bet Eva was the sixth nominee, just a couple of votes behind someone else. I'm going to work a little harder this season to make sure she had some fantastic scenes
just to try to fix this horrendous error."
Her publicist also added, "Eva knows her time will come for an Emmy. She has two movies under her belt and is well on her way to becoming a major film star."
