"Ramji Londonwaley" seems to have the ingredients to make it join the list of cult comedies like "Hera Pheri" and "Munnabhai M.B.B.S".
The film, slated for release in August, stars south superstar Madhavan in the lead as a small town cook from Bihar and his pursuits as he deals with the alien Western
culture after landing up in London.
Those who have seen sneak previews of the film haven't stopped raving about it. Director Sanjay Dayma has been getting congratulatory calls from friends, especially from
the unit of "Lagaan". Dayma was the writer and chief assistant director of "Lagaan".
Not surprisingly, he roped in the much-loved characters of "Lagaan" - Raj Zutshi, Akhilendra Mishra, Aditya Lakhia and Daya Shankar Pandey.
"Ramji Londonwaley" has all the makings of a sure winner. The story is by Kamal Hassan and music by Vishal Bharadwaj. Ravi Varman has provided cinematography and
the editing is by Yash Johar films' Sanjay Sankla.
