Pakistan's culture minister Tuesday ruled out joint film production with India saying his country could not go in for such "sensitive" ventures in the current circumstances.

Talking to reporters after meeting a seven-member Indian culture ministerial delegation, Muhammad Ajmal Khan, however, said Pakistani film stars were free to act in Indian films in their individual capacity and there were no government restrictions in this regard.

The minister said Pakistan was keen to send more youth delegations to India and wanted more Hindu and Sikh pilgrims to visit Pakistan and vice versa, reports Online news agency.

He assured Indian Culture Secretary Neena Ranjan, who is leading the visiting delegation, that the government would ensure full protection to the holy sites of Hindus and Sikhs in Pakistan.
