Juhi Chawla attended a special screening of Nagesh Kukunoor's upcoming film Lakshmi.

The actress was so touched by its subject that she started crying and wanted to leave mid-way. It was co-producer Elahe Hiptoola who had a word with Juhi and convinced her to stay back and assured her that in the second half there is no violence against the female lead.

Juhi was later overheard telling Kukunoor,`I don't know what to say. I haven't seen anything like this before. I am trying to express myself and failing. God bless you for making a film which will impact a lot of lives.`
