Belying reports that after his departure from the rented flat owned by Boney Kapoor friends have found a home for him in Mumbai ,Prabhudheva shifted into a suburban hotel on his return to the city on Saturday.

Says Prabhu, `I am staying in a hotel for the next week or so. By then I hope to find another home.Even if I don't I am okay.I've no assets to store except my clothes.`

Prabhudheva who was holidaying with his parents and sons in Mysore is much amused by reports in the media about his `homelessness`.

`It has become a national issue, as if I was forced to vacate my home and now I've nowhere to go. That isn't true at all. I very happily moved out. And I was not traveling last week because I am homeless.Please! I was on a vacation with my parents and children. Everyone in Mumbai goes on a holiday during New Years eve.Why can't I?`

Prabhudheva returned to Mumbai on Saturday and immediately resume shooting for Action Jackson.

He booked into a hotel until he finds his own place. `I don't need much space except when my children visit me. I don't eat at home. In fact I am not much into food at all. I've lost even more weight now.Since I started working the minute I landed in Mumbai it is more convenient for me to work from a hotel for the time being.`

Prabhu admits his friends in Mumbai are searching for a place for him. `There are 5-6 options. I may choose to move into of these apartments that my friends have found for me. But nothing has been decided as yet. Right now I'd rather stay in a hotel.`

Then the self-effacing self-declared gypsy quips, `I am shooting on a road with Ajay. I just hope people don't say, 'Prabhudheva sadak pe aa gaya.'
