Salman to appear before Jodhpur Court today

Salman Khan is likely to appear in a Jodhpur Court on Wednesday in the black buck case. According to a source, "the court has asked his counsel Hastimal Saraswat to ask the actor to appear before the court on January 29 to record his statement."

It maybe recalled here that the court summoned the actor after hearing and examining prosecution witnesses early this month. Though there is no confirmation if the actor will be going Jodhpur a source said that in most likelihood Salman will make an appearance in court.


It maybe recalled here that in October 1998 during the shooting of Hindi film 'Hum Saath Saath Hain' two black bucks a protected breed of animal under the Wildlife Protection Act were killed in Kankani village close to Jodhpur. Salman along with four other actors including Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Neelam and Sonali Bendra were accused in the case.
