Director Hansal Mehta, who recently criticised Central Board of Film Certification's certification policy, says his new film "City Lights" has helped him to be a positive person.

"It's been a month of elation and disappointment. Thank god for 'City Lights'. The process of making the film has helped me focus productively," Mehta posted on microblogging site Twitter Thursday.

An official adaptation of Britain's Oscar entry - "Metro Manila", it has been produced by Vishesh Films.
