Industrialist Sunjay Kapur's petition against his estranged wife Karishma Kapoor, seeking to restrain
the Bollywood actress from travelling abroad with their five-month-old daughter Samaira, will be heard
by the Delhi High Court on August 30.
The High Court was to take up the matter tomorrow but due to a holiday on account of Janmashtami
the petition would be heard on August 30.
Karishma's counsel Arvind Nigam mentioned the issue before Justice Mukul Mudgal and requested
him to advance the date.
However, the court fixed the date for next hearing to August 30 after Centre's counsel Kailash
Gambhir and Sunjay's counsel Manali Singhal showed no objection to it.
Nigam wanted an early hearing and disposal of the case following the court's interim order restraining
Karishma from taking Samaira abroad.
