Vikram Bhatt's 19-year-old daughter Krishna is assisting him in his Emraan Hashmi-Amyra Dastur starrer 'Mr X'.

Vikram says, `We wanted her to go abroad and study, but she didn't want to live alone so came back.` The director's father Pravin Bhatt adds, `The same thing happened with Vikram also.

So it is like father like daughter.` Krishna began assisting Vikram during his film '1920'. She has also acted in his films like Haunted (as the pianist) and in Dangerous Ishhq (as a village girl).

Vikram was 14 when he started with Mukul Anand's 'Kanoon Kya Karega' in 1984. Krishna followed suit by joining the industry in her teens.
