Diva Roy is probably the youngest playback singer in India. The five-year-old has sung 'Balwa Sa Sapna' in this week's release, 'Shaadi Ke Side Effects'.

Daughter of Pritha Majumdar ('Aisa Desh Hai Mera' song) and music director Rajesh Roy, she has no formal training in music.

When composer Pritam was looking for a child singer for the film, one of Diva's mother's pals introduced her to Pritam. Initially, the composer was not sure, but when the child singing, he knew she was the voice for his track.

Apart from singing, Diva loves playing tennis and dancing.
