The producers of Priyadarshan's "Garam Masala," have planned a massive Diwali release of the film.

"We have already confirmed Nov 3 as the date for a wide release of the film. In fact, we have got a record number of queries from exhibitors who wish to book the film at their theatres," says Ganesh Jain of Venus.

The Jains have no problem about the fact that Priyadarshan's second film, "Kyunki", is also scheduled for release the same day.

"The film falls into an entirely different genre while 'Garam Masala' is characteristic of the Priyadarshan brand of comedy, which swept the audiences in his last two films, 'Hulchul' and 'Hungama,'" Jain says.
