The Bollywood was stunned by Priety Zinta when she indicated that she was willing to contest Lok Sabha elections giving a fight to Priya Dutt.

She has never confessed to harbouring political ambitions and we are kind of amused at the prospect of Preity Zinta contesting the electionson a BJP ticket.

Buzz is, the party is on the hunt for a celebrity to pit against Priya Dutt from the North-Central Mumbai constituency and party general secretary Rajiv Pratap Rudy is keen to rope in Zinta for the same. Rudy and and Zinta are distant relatives.

Last heard, Zinta has turned down Rudy's offer. She has way too much on her hands, she says. But BJP is not giving up on her yet. The position, as we can tell you, is still vacant and waiting for some star power.
