Producer Sajid Nadiadwalla's "Jaan-E-Man" has been facing problems for one reason or another. The latest - Nadiadwalla was all set to proceed on a 45-day shoot to the US on Sep 1 with Salman Khan and Priety Zinta when Mumbai Police refused to let Salman travel.

It is reported that police are refusing to part with the actor's passport, which he had last surrendered to the police station on the orders of a court soon after he was accused of killing a black buck a few years ago.

Police commissioner A.N. Roy was reported as saying that the passport could not be returned until the latest controversy over the actor's infamous taped conversations was resolved.

Nadiadwalla is optimistic that the problem will be resolved before his shoot begins.
