Producer Vicky Kumar, known for his big-budget Sunny Deol starrers, is back with a Hindi-Punjabi bilingual called "Chooriyan".

Directed by Sukhwant Dadda, the film casts Vinod Khanna and Gracy Singh in the lead roles.

Says Vicky: "It is a woman-oriented film, which will be Gracy's next best after 'Lagan'. I came across this particular story and found out that Gracy would be the ideal choice for the role. Besides, it has been a long time since there has been a Hindi-Punjabi bilingual, shot on this scale. The exhibitors there are all excited about it."

After wrapping up the shooting of the film, Vicky has recorded a peppy item number for it in the voice of Sukhwinder Singh.

"I saw that his heart was in the song and felt it would be ideal to picturise it on him. I am planning to shoot the song on a lavish scale next week," Vicky said.

The music of "Chooriyan" has been tuned by two famous Punjabi musicians Sardool Sikander and Kanwar Iqbal. The film has six songs, but the one recorded in the voice of Sukhwinder tops it all.

"Chooriyan" has been slated for release in October.
