We have been told that Atul has been getting calls from officials from different parties that are contesting the upcoming elections. They want to decipher the plot of O Teri as it may have some political connotation.
"Three parties contesting the general elections - Congress, BJP and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) - have got in touch with Atul. As the elections are coming closer, the parties are wary of the content of the film. Its trailer portrays two intern journalists digging into a scam. Congress members want to watch the film to see if it has any reference to the CWG scam that happened when they were the governing party," says a source close to Atul, adding, "AAP has been in the news for their protests against corruption and their officials want to watch the film to endorse it. Even BJP has been talking about anti-corruption and want to watch the movie."
When contacted, Atul, who is usually away from politics, says, "Yes, I have got a few calls from various officials from Congress, BJP and AAP, and they will be watching the film this Friday (March 28). "
