Grapevine has it that plucky Preity recently refused to act against Shahrukh, though initially she agreed to do the movie, offered by Juhi Chawla's Dream Unlimited Ltd.

In a way, it was sweet revenge for Zinta. Obviously, the girl has not forgiven Shah Rukh for his refusal to do films with her in the past, though a number of big banners were keen to pair them. Preity seems to be having the last laugh, now that she has dealt a solid blow at the Khan's kingsize ego.
