Seems like lengthy films are the order of the day! After LAGAAN and GADAR, yet another lengthy film is all set to invade the theatres, the Amitabh-Manoj Bajpai starrer AKS, which is releasing on July 13. The film has already been censored (20 reels) and the final duration is 3.10 hours.
"We are not going to trim any portions," Rakesh Mehra tells me, when asked if he was planning to compress the length of the film, since producers are known to trim the film voluntarily after the censors clear it.
Whether the film will be screened in three or four shows everyday, is undecided.
