It isn't often that America and Hollywood notice Indian films. Hence it was pleasure to treasure when this years Oscar winner Lupita Nyongo (of 12 Years A Slave fame) posted on a microblog site a glowing response to Ritesh Batra's The Lunchbox.

Wrote Ms Nyongo, `Just saw the movie The Lunchbox: the perfect heartwarming love story period, but specially on a cold and rainy day.`

The Lunchbox lead actor Irrfan Khan is kicked by the praise from such a reputed fellow-actor.

Irrfan reacted saying, `Lupita is a wonderful, marvelous actor.She has won hearts all over the world. He reaction to our film is most precious. All strength to her.`


Lunchbox director Ritesh Batra who has been traveling to various parts of the world with the film is also kicked by Lupita's comments.

Says Ritesh, `It is really very kind of her. She's a fabulous actor,I am glad the film is still playing in the US.`
