The heartthrob of the Nation felt while selling vada pav's on the streets of Mumbai.Ranbir Kapoor, leaving behind his superstardom status stepped out in the streets braving the scorching heat with the sole intention of earning maximum booty for little Sunita who is undergoing treatment for blood cancer for COLORS upcoming show Mission Sapne. Her father, a common man, struggles day and night to accumulate huge sums of monies required for her treatment.

Ranbir who also has a family member suffering from cancer, identified with the obstacles faced by Sunita's father and decided to amass as much money as possible to make their life comfortable.

Once on the streets in his vad-pav-wala avatar, the actor was mobbed badly. When the hysterical crowd went beyond control and proved to be an obstacle towards his goal, Ranbir decided to shift location immediately. When asked how he felt as a vada pav seller, the actor said, `I realized that Vada Pav selling is an art. I thought it would be a cake walk but it wasn't. I couldn't half the pav properly. Then the chutney would spill all over. But given a chance, I would like to do it again.` At the job, the actor obliged everyone with their requests. He got paid well too! Cashing on his popularity, Ranbir charged Rs.50 for every autograph that he signed for his loving fans and Rs.20 for every handshake. He happily posed for pictures, sang and danced, mouthed his popular dialogues, even made two fans indulge in a vada pav eating competition.

At the end of the day, Ranbir managed to raise a substantial amount of funds for young Sunita. He said, `Cancer can never win till we have fighters and brave-hearts like Sunita.` He even coyly admitted that this was the first time he had engaged in an activity which required him to take money from his loving fans!

When asked about his participation, Ranbir said, `The format of the show is brilliant. What the channel is attempting to achieve through this show is wonderful. Everybody wants to help, but helping someone by doing something good and doing something which you enjoy while you are at it is incredible. I thank COLORS for giving me this opportunity to do something for people in a fun and entertaining way.`

The show is going to be aired on 27th April on Colors. The first episode will be of Ranbir Kapoor, where he will be seen sellng Wada Pao for the Cancer Patient.
