Appearing before Justice Mukul Mudgal, industrialist Sunjay said he would sign the application on the basis of which the Regional Passport Office Mumbai had issued a passport to his daughter.
Counsels appearing for Sunjay and Karisma submitted before the court that ''there is much better relationship between the two before they came to the court''.
While dismissing the petition, the judge said he was happy that the matter was resolved between the two for the betterment of the child.
The court asked Sunjay to appear before the RPO, Mumbai within two weeks on the application.
Government Counsel Kailash Gambhir said it would set a bad precedent to allow the father to sign the application at this stage as the passport was valid and legal.
The court vacated the stay on Karisma's travel abroad and directed the Ministry of External Affairs and Immigration authorities not to restrict her from going abroad.
