According to sources close to the actor, he has decided to marry Kiran Rao, his girlfriend of two years. Khan is in London with Kiran to deliver a lecture at Cambridge University.

Although there are reports in a section of the media that the actor is likely to marry in December, a source said the actor may marry the assistant director within a month's time.
