After touching millions of hearts through her signing, the nightingale of India has changed track, that too for a noble cause. Recently Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee inaugurated the Dinanath (named after her late father) Hospital in Pune "Ever since her father died for want of medical aid, Lata Mangeshkar and her siblings worked hard to build a hospital. "People have a lot of dreams but sometimes they remain unfulfilled.

Our dream has come true. But it shall remain unfulfilled until the hospital is fully operational. Right now, only half of our dream has been realized," said Lata Mangeshkar. We hope she manages to cure people with her noble cause.
