Shekhar Kapur, who has made such highly acclaimed films as Bandit Queen and the Oscar-winning Elizabeth, has now focused his attention on Indian cricketer Kapil Dev.

Kapur now has plans to make a film on Kapil, which might end up more as a docu-drama. The project which is in its initial stages was started after Kapur got a go-ahead from Kapil, who is very excited about this whole thing.
