Even as the Mumbaikars have become scared of rains after the July 26 deluge, a movie titled 'Rain',
portraying a girl suffering from 'rain-phobia', is all set to be released.
To hit the silver screen this Friday, 'Rain' is the story of a blind girl, played by actress Meghna Naidu,
who has this phobia because of certain incidents in her childhood.
Meghna, who shot to fame with her hot-hot music video 'Kaliyon Ka Chaman', began her career with
the runaway hit 'Hawas'; a complete mass-appeal film. Thus it has come as quite a shocker to
people that the girl with an image of a sex-symbol, is now essaying the role of a blind girl.
So what made her accept a role like this?
"I wanted to experiment," she candidly says. Though playing blind, Meghna promises she will be a
vision of loveliness. Probed further, she adds that "the film is a thriller and does have an element of
glamour. I've made sure, I don't disappoint my fans, at the same time, I am exploring the more
creative side in me."
