Producer Ramgopal Varma has zeroed in on Nisha Kothari once again to play the lead in Go. Directed by debutant Manish, Nisha describes the film as "a love story". Unlike
James, Go does not have heavy dose of violence. In fact it is a sweet simple love story between two young people.
Gautam is my co-star in the film. This is his first film. We have just begun our first schedule." Go is a strange title to a film. To that Nisha replied, "The reason why it is
named Go is because Manish felt the word has some kind of an energy to it. Also Gautam and I are playing vivacious characters in the film." Nisha said that it was during
the first schedule of James that Ramu had spoken to her about Go and how he wanted her to play the lead in it.
Nisha adds, "The response to James has been overwhelming. There are people who have complimented me for my performance in the film."
When told that the critics had felt that she had exposed a lot and had nothing much to do in the film Nisha said, "My role was meant to be short and sweet. As far as
exposure is concerned, I played a 19-year-old and wearing short minis seemed apt for a girl of that age."
