The proposed bio-pic on the globally celebrated Bihar mathematician Anand Kumar which director Anurag Basu had promised to make seems to have been set aside for more practical considerations.

The Patna-based mathematician who was in constant touch with Anurag Basu and his wife says he is unable reach the director any longer.

`I wish he would at least let me know if he's doing the film or not.Anuragji came to me with the offer. He visited me in Patna several times. I also visited him in Mumbai with regard to the film.I had other offers. I ignored them.And now he seems to be ignoring me,` says the hurt and bewildered soft-spoken internationally renowned maths genius, not used to the erratic ways of the entertainment industry .
