The temple constructed by Big B Club is decorated with the photographs and posters of the legendary Hindi cine star and a prayer titled ''Amit mere kab honge darshan tere'' was also chanted on the occasion.
Interestingly, Amitabh Fans Club also celebrated his birth anniversary at the famous Moti Dungri temple in Jaipur and prayed for his well being and success.
Meanwhile, a fan of the superstar, Suraj Bhan, hailing from Rohtak district in Haryana, has been travelling on foot for the last 11 days and surviving only on liquid food as he is adamant to take proper diet only after he meets of Mr Bachchan in person who is scheduled to arrive in Bikaner for the shoot of Hindi movie 'Eklavya' on October 13.
The shooting will be held at Gajner Palace which is of archaelogical value and is encompassed by a lake and a sanctuary.
After Jaipur and Udaipur, the shooting of the Hindi movie will be held here for a week in which actor Jackie Shroff, Parikhshit Sahni and Jimmy Shergill will take part, apart from the Big B.
