The exodus to West has ended. Many of the units shooting abroad are back. Sajid Naidiadwala has
finished the current stint of Jaan-e-Man, and hero Akshay Kumar is back in Mumbai to promote his
next release Garam Masala.
Priyanka Chopra and Hrithik Roshan got two days off from Krissh in Malaysia. They both rushed
back to India... only to be stranded midair after the Sahara skidding incident at the Mumbai airport
on the evening of the 9th.
Recalling the incident Priyanka shudders, "It was a nightmare. Here I was in Mumbai for just two
days with a million appointments and story sessions lined up."
"The last thing I could afford was to be hovering over Mumbai for nearly an hour. Then suddenly we were told that the flight couldn't land.
So we were flown off to Delhi...can you imagine?!
We had to spend nearly the whole night on the Delhi airport and then catch an early morning flight
back to Mumbai. I hope I never have to go through something like this again...Fortunately Duggu
(Hrithik) and his dad were with me. They looked after me so well. Otherwise can you imagine being
stranded on Delhi airport on my own?!"
In fact that's exactly what would've happened as per the original plan.
"Duggu wasn't
supposed to come back with me. He decided to give Suzanne a surprise. Thank God for his
last-minute decision to come back. I don't know what I'd have done otherwise."
