Bollywood item girl Rakhi Sawant, who managed to gather mere 15 votes for her independent party Rashtriya Aam Party, said that she lost only because she 'did not have crores of money to spend' reports The Times Of India.

Speaking exclusively to The Indian Express, Rakhi Sawant said, `I have lost. I am unhappy because I lost but happy because BJP won. I'm happy that it will be a Narendra Modi-led government.`

Rakhi did not respond when asked if she would contest for the elections again but said, `I'm resigning from my party, since I have learned that you can win only when you are affiliated to a big party.`

She also said, `You can win an election only when you have money. I have lost only because I did not have crores.`

Rakhi concluded, `At least my situation is better than Arvind Kejriwal,` adding, `people at least know my 12-day-old party.`
