The authorities at Lawrence School in Lovedale, Ooty, were thrilled when they found out that Amitabh Bachchan was shooting there with Dhanush for R Balki's upcoming flick.
They promptly invited him for their Founder's Day celebrations, which the Big B accepted. But when he found out that 3,000 people would be in attendance, he decided to go in the evening instead, when the crowd would thin out.
However, as soon as he started out, the hotel management tipped off the school, and the guests regrouped for that one chance to meet the star. Such was the excitement that no one remembered to click a picture with him. Not even that obligatory selfie!
