Eminent filmmaker Subhash Ghai has been invited to attend the upcoming 2nd Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF) as a Guest of Honour for the second year in succession.

He will be there from December 9 to 11.

Last year at the DIFF, Ghai was honoured as part of the festival's 'Directors in the Spotlight' section. As part of that programme, DIFF had screened the Ghai-directed 'Pardes' and 'Taal'.

DIFF will be held between December 6 and 11 and feature over 75 movies, including features, retrospectives and short films.

The six-day festival is divided into 10 distinct programmes, each focusing on a particular festival theme.
