Unfortunately, Shraddha had to swallow a bitter pill at a suburban hotel in Mumbai on Monday evening. At a press meet, to celebrate the success of Ek Villain, press photographers decided to unanimously boycott the petite actress.
Infuriated with the actor's behaviour in the recent past and after the release of the movie, the lensmen decided to boycott her.
Despite repeated requests for photographs, Shraddha Kapoor has been ignoring them. At times her manager would block their view and prevent her from being clicked. So, this time shutterbugs decided to teach Shraddha a lesson.
On Monday at the press meet, they refused to click pictures till Shraddha had moved out of the frame. The film's director Mohit Suri was surprised that not a single photographer was clicking their pictures. The reason for not clicking photographs was conveyed to the film's actor Riteish Deshmukh when he stepped down from the dais.
Next the team of Ek Villain retreated into a room to discuss how to solve the imbroglio. They came out a little later. Shraddha came forward and apologized for her behaviour but the photographers refused to relent.
The photographers told Shraddha's manager that they would consult among themselves and let them know their decision later.
One thing was clear. All the group photographs clicked were without Shraddha. In fact, over the weekend most photographers did not click Shraddha when she came to Siddharth Malhotra's house for the movie's success bash.
