Director Rohit Shetty is not too fond of shooting during the nights, but the script of his upcoming film Singham Returns demanded extensive night scenes.

This is the first time he has shot for maximum night schedules. As the Ajay Devgn starrer is about black money and illegal siphoning of funds, it needed to be symbolised by being shot in the dark of night.

As a result, Rohit and his unit spent several sleepless nights shooting till the wee hours of the morning.
