It may be pointed out that Rahul and Rajlaxmi have been together for almost 16 years and the couple are apparently not ending their relationship on a sour note.
`Both of them were deeply in love with each other but now they have moved on. It's shocking to hear about their divorce,` says a source close to the couple.
When contacted, Rahul confirmed the news. He said, `Yes, we have filed for divorce by mutual consent. Rajlaxmi will always remain an integral part of my life. She shares the same sentiment. Her family is still my family and that's that. I'll always be there for her.`
