Ranbir Kapoor might play the role of Dhyan Chand in an upcoming biopic on the hockey star.

Ila Bedi Dutta, who penned Agneepath, is finalising the script of the movie, which will be produced by Pooja Shetty. According to reports, Shah Rukh Khan was approached for the role first. Rajat Bedi, Ila's brother, shared with us on a recent trip to the capital, "Ila is in the process of completing the script of the movie. The movie shoot will begin soon. Talks are going on for signing Ranbir Kapoor for the lead role,reports The Times of India"
