After Krrish 3 and Grand Masti last year, Vivek Oberoi had not signed on any project. The actor has now been added to the cast of Bumpy's Bank Chor which has Riteish Deshmukh and Rhea Chakraborty as his co-stars.

The film made news when comedian Kapil Sharma (who was to make his film debut with this one) and producers Yash Raj parted ways. Interestingly, VO returns to the banner after 12 years. His last outing with them was Shaad Ali's 2002 film Saathiya. In Bank Chor, Vivek essays a CBI officer.
