Telly actor Gaurav Chopra is said to have walked out of a special shoot for Eid after he was made to wait for hours
Last weekend, TV actor Gaurav Chopra was supposed to shoot for a special Eid episode for the channel Colors. He reached the venue on time and was ready to shoot his scenes, but the show's crew apparently did not shoot with him even after making him wait for hours.

A unit member says, `Gaurav was expecting the crew to call him to shoot his portion, so he kept waiting in his vanity van. But the call never came. Finally, after waiting for a couple of hours, he is said to have left the set in a huff.`

It is being said that the channel is not too pleased with Gaurav's decision of leaving their show Uttaran and this could be the reason why he was dropped from the special episode at the last moment.

`Gaurav has been on the show on and off. His character has been liked by all and the makers even wanted to make some changes in his track. But he decided to go ahead and announce to the media that he was leaving the show. He had not informed anyone from the show and his exit did not go down well with the channel and the production house. So this could be the reason why he was at the receiving end the other day.`

Gaurav denied the buzz. He said, `I was supposed to perform with Akshay Kumar and for some reason, he left early. So they couldn't squeeze in my act at all. It has nothing to do with me leaving Uttaran. The good part is that the crew apologised to me and I was paid for the act anyway.` The channel was unavailable for comment.
