Everyone is talking about Ranveer Singh's cameo in Finding Fanny. But no one really knows the exact situation. Truth is that Ranveer has did it for free.

Homi confirms,`Ya! Ranveer is a gud friend man, so he did it just to entertain people, to make them laugh. When, we were sitting together and I was telling him the story of Finding Fanny.

He suddenly started laughing and said I'll play Gabo (the character). I loved this character, and will do it without any cost. Later on, I told him that I'd need him in Goa for half a day of shoot. Ranveer said, anytime and as much time you want. We all had so much fun that he ended up staying for over a week after the shot was done. Ranveer's energy is infectious and when the material is right I know we'll be able to create some magic in a film someday.`

Homi is crediting Ranveer's cameo as a short-lived appearance in Finding Fanny that releases on September 12.
