As the cast of Comedy Nights With Kapil rejoiced on having achieved the 100 episode mark along with Navjot Singh Sidhu, they were joined by the Singham Returns cast comprising of Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor. While both actors have been a part of the show on separate occasions, it was the combination of the mammoth celebrations that built up the excitement levels ensuring that everyone on the sets had a gala time.

Kapil Sharma, getting into a police avatar, introduced himself as Singham Singh - the original Singham's formidable and brave senior! When Kareena asked to see and check if six pack matched Ajay Devgn's, pat came Kapil's witty reply, `Woh kya hai - hum duty pe kholte nahi!` It was only when the real Singham took center stage that Kapil decided it was best to return to what he does best - add tons of humour and laughter to the audiences' lives.


The most excited member of the Sharma family was in fact Kapil's mother who attended the shoot to celebrate her son's achievements. Seated in the audience, a proud Mrs. Sharma said, `I am very happy that Comedy Nights With Kapil has completed 100 episodes. I wish him all the luck for the future!` Humbled by the blessings showered upon him by his dear mother, the comedian immediately replied with, `Mummy, show ko sau episode poore hue hain - mujhe nahi!`
