She said, "It was while writing the script of Mr Ya Miss that I discovered the funny side to me. And there were these really humorous incidents that had occurred in my life. I could not envision it as a film. So I thought why not write a book and that's how Psychology of the Haircut was born. I have already written a few pages."
Antara said that she has always believed in looking at the positive side.
"Every situation teaches you something. You have to take all the incidents that happen in life positively." Antara says that she needs to complete the book before she begins hunting for a publisher.
"I will first finish writing it. It is only then that I will approach a publishing house." Antara says that compared to writing a script, writing a book is difficult. "Not that writing Mr Ya Miss was a cakewalk. Writing a script had its share of obstacles and hindrances but I enjoyed it."
Mr Ya Miss had her share the credit with another director, Satchit Puranik, "I had worked on the script meticulously. The unit was well aware of what kind of work had to be done and when."
"Right from day one it was very clear that Satchit was there to just execute the scenes penned down in the script. Also Satchit was there so that I could have my space as an actor."
Antara adds, "I now plan to write a musical. It is something that I have had on my mind for a long time now." Ask her if it will be a musical romantic film, and Antara replies, "Don't all films have romance?"
